10 int’l flights to Dhaka Airport disrupted over dense fog

Dhaka: Schedules of 10 international flights to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka were disrupted due to dense fog on January 22.
One flight from Bangkok to Dhaka was diverted to Paro Airport in Bhutan. As per reports, a Drukair flight departed Bangkok Airport at 7:30 am for Dhaka, however, was diverted over dense fog and landed in Bhutan at 9:10 am instead.
Furthermore, nine other flights from Kuala Lumpur, Guangzhou, Dubai, Sharjah, Doha, and Singapore, respectively, were delayed by 1 to 8 hours.
