Radisson Red opens in Vienna

Radisson Hotel Group has opened a new property under its Radisson Red brand in Vienna.
The new-build hotel is located on the edge of Vienna’s Leopoldstadt district and features a metal facade with gold-tinted windows and a glass house on the rooftop.
The property is a 15-minute walk from the city centre, while Schottenring metro station is located just outside.
Radisson Red Vienna has 172 rooms and seven suites with modern décor, exposed concrete ceilings, paintings with red highlights and large windows.
The rooftop bar Istros is located in a greenhouse-like structure, offering 360-degree views of the city and canal. The bar offers cocktails, a selection of wines and spirits, beer on tap and barista coffees as well as DJ sets.
The hotel’s ground floor is home to the Silk Road-inspired restaurant Sarai, and includes co-working space, a bar and a comfortable lounge space.
Guests can also dine al fresco in the inner courtyard, which features a mural by Viennese visual artist David Leitner.
