Country’s tallest Christmas tree cake at InterContinental Dhaka
Dhaka: InterContinental Dhaka has put colourful décor at its premises to set the right mood to celebrate Christmas. As part of it, the hotel has added a new appealing and eye-catching Christmas tree cake this year. The cake is tree-shaped and 16 feet in height weighing 1800 pounds, making it the country’s tallest Christmas tree cake, said the hotel in a press release.
It took the entire pastry and bakery team of the hotel 15 days to prepare this traditional plum flavoured cake with Christmas decorations, shared the hotel in the release.
Additionally, a huge 22 feet high Christmas tree has been set up in the Winter Garden area. It has been decorated with all the Christmas elements to brighten the charm of the festivity. Several appealing miniature gingerbread houses can also be found in various areas of the hotel. Also, a giant Christmas themed photo-booth has been set up at Café Social for guests to capture personalised memories of the festive season.
The hotel is also offering special buffet brunch and buffet dinner on December 24 and 25 at Elements at BDT 5500 and BDT 6999 net per person respectively.
Their poolside open air restaurant Aqua Deck will also offer special Christmas BBQ dinner at BDT 5000 net per person with live music.
Both Elements and Aqua Deck dine in offers have buy one get one offer with selected bank cards.
On the other hand, the Amber Room fine dining restaurant has designed its menu with an exclusive five-course Christmas dinner on both December 24 and December 25 at BDT 8000 net per person.
On December 25, the hotel will hold a Christmas Carnival at its Winter Garden from 10:30 am to 01:00 pm with various fun activities as cake cutting with Santa Clause, joyous rides, live music and others.
On the eve of New Year, InterContinental Dhaka will offer an extravagant buffet dinner at Elements at BDT 7999 net per person. Buy One Get one offer will be available on selected bank cards. The Amber Room will offer a five-course dinner menu at BDT 8000 net per person.
