Prime Bank hosts youth empowering program at DIU


Dhaka: Prime Bank PLC has
organized the second season of its “PrimeAcademia Empowering Youth” program in
collaboration with the Career Development Center (CDC) and the DIU Finance Club
at Daffodil International University in the capital.
The event brought
together students, academics, and banking professionals for a full-day program
focused on career development, leadership skills, financial literacy, and
stronger collaboration between industry and academia.
Senior executives from
Prime Bank, including representatives from its liability, women banking,
financial inclusion, and talent acquisition divisions, attended the session.
They were joined by senior officials from Daffodil International University,
including the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and Treasurer.
The program featured
keynote discussions, interactive sessions, and practical insights into modern
banking and financial sector careers. Students also participated in a mock
interview session designed to simulate real recruitment processes and provide
professional feedback from industry experts.
Organizers said, the
initiative aims to improve employability by equipping students with real-world
skills and better understanding of workplace expectations in the financial
sector.
Participants received
certificates, gift kits, and networking opportunities as part of the event.
Prime Bank said, the
“Empowering Youth” initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to youth
development and strengthening the link between higher education institutions
and the banking industry in Bangladesh.
