REHAB fair bags Tk 400cr orders

Visitors throng the venue of the housing show styled REHAB Summer Fair-2021 that came to a close yesterday in the capital.
The five-day exposition organised by Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) has bagged Tk 400 crore in spot orders organisers said.
A total of 175 real estate companies and four financial organisations took part in the "Rehab Summer Fair."
Some 19,237 people have visited in the fair which started on 23 December.
During the fair, the REHAB authorities said that the participants sold and received booking worth Tk 1.98 billion including plots worth Tk 1.25 billion and commercial space worth Tk 0.74 billion.
Besides, they got a bank commitment of more than Tk 15 billion.
REHAB President Alamgir Shamsul Alamin while talking to Bangladesh Monitor said that “We have tried to earn trust from the people. Also, we have received positive vibes from buyers, sellers and mass media. We can say that the real estate sector is rebounding.”
Mentioning the sole purpose of the fair was branding, the REHAB president said, “Not every visitor will buy plots or flats now. Some of them are planning to buy the products in future. The participating organisations are showcasing the quality of their products to the visitors. The visitors will make decisions later.”
