Sri Lanka records 1,923,502 tourist arrivals by early November

Dhaka: Sri Lanka has reached a significant milestone, recording 1,923,502 tourist arrivals as of November 2025.

With 32,815 visitors arriving in the first five days of November alone, and daily arrivals averaging over 6,000, the country is positioned to surpass last year's total of 2,053,465 within this month as the peak winter season commences.

The primary source markets for the year remain: India (431,235 visitors), United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Germany, and China (all four exceeding 100,000 arrivals)

This momentum indicates a strong resurgence in the tourism sector.
