Thai Airways unveils new A321neo, set for Dhaka service in summer

Dhaka: Thai Airways International (THAI) has officially launched its new Airbus A321neo at Suvarnabhumi Airport, showcasing upgraded cabin products and advanced technologies aimed at enhancing passenger comfort, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
The A321neo is part of THAI’s fleet modernization plan for short- and medium-haul routes, offering improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and reduced noise.
The aircraft features refreshed livery elements and a specially designed A321neo logo inspired by the Thai Contemporary concept.
Inside, the aircraft is configured with 16 Royal Silk Class flat-bed seats and 159 Economy Class seats, both equipped with large touchscreen inflight entertainment displays.
Passengers will also benefit from an upgraded 4K inflight entertainment system and high-speed internet connectivity via the SES Open Orbits network, available from early 2026.
The first A321neo, named “Bowonrangsi,” will enter service between January and March 2026 on routes including Bangkok–Singapore, Bangkok–Phuket, and Bangkok–Delhi.
Thai Airways confirmed the aircraft will also operate flights to Dhaka (DAC) in Summer 2026, reinforcing its commitment to delivering a modern and premium travel experience across its regional network.
