US-Bangla increasing frequency to Bangkok, Guangzhou from September 1
Dhaka : US-Bangla Airlines is increasing frequency from Dhaka to Thailand's Bangkok and China's Guangzhou from September 1.
The biggest private carrier of the country will be operating daily flights on Dhaka-Bangkok route from September 1, 2023, announced the airline in a release.
Currently, US-Bangla operates four weekly flights on Dhaka-Bangkok route every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
However, effective September 1, the airline's flight BS-217 will depart Dhaka at 10:10 am and land in Bangkok at 1:40 pm local time every day while the return flight BS-218 will depart Bangkok at 2:40 pm local time and reach Dhaka at 4:25 pm.
US-Bangla Airlines is also going to operate five weekly flights on Dhaka-Guangzhou route from September 1, 2023.
Currently, the airline is operating three weekly flights on the route, said US-Bangla in a release.
Effective September 1, 2023, US-Bangla's flight will depart Dhaka Airport at 10:10 pm and arrive in Guangzhou at 3:50 am local time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The return flight from Guangzhou will depart at 5:00 am and arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 7:00 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The minimum one-way fare on Dhaka-Guangzhou route is BDT 30,669 and the return fare BDT 50,540.
US-Bangla is operating flights to and from Guangzhou with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Apart from Guangzhou and Bangkok, US-Bangla Airlines is also operating flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Chennai, Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Male.
Also, US-Bangla is planning to launch flights from Dhaka to Delhi and Jeddah shortly.
Currently, the airline has a total of 20 aircraft in its fleet including eight Boeing 737-800s, and nine brand new ATR 72-600s.
The airline further plans to add a total of six wide-body and 20 narrow-body aircraft, including two Airbus 330s, soon.
Thailand tour package
Additionally, the airline has announced attractive tour packages for the popular tourist destination-Thailand.
Passengers wishing to enjoy the beauty of its capital Bangkok can avail the airline's '2 days-3 nights' package, starting from BDT 35,790 per person.
Under the package, passengers can avail accommodation in the following hotels: Hotel Ambassador Square and Sky Wing, Hotel Grand President, Hotel Holiday Inn Express, and Hotel Solitaire.
The offer will be available till October 28, 2023, applicable for two adult tourists.
The package also includes buffet breakfast.
