AirAsia Group CEO meets PM Tarique Rahman

Dhaka: AirAsia's Group Chief Executive Officer Bo Lingam paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman during a meeting in Kuala Lumpur on June 22.

According to the Prime Minister's Office press wing, the meeting took place at 3:10 pm local time at the Shangri-La Hotel in the Malaysian capital.

During the discussion, the two sides explored potential investment opportunities in Bangladesh's aviation sector.

Earlier, the prime minister had arrived in Kuala Lumpur on June 21 for a two-day official visit. After wrapping up the trip, he departed for Dalian, China, in the afternoon of June 22 and reached the Chinese city at 11:05 pm local time.
