Malaysia Airlines earns Seven Star PLUS safety rating

The rating places
Malaysia Airlines alongside carriers including Etihad Airways, Cathay Pacific,
and Air New Zealand, according to the aviation safety and product rating
website.
Seven Star PLUS is an
enhanced safety recognition available only to airlines that already hold
AirlineRatings.com's highest Seven Star safety rating. To qualify, airlines
undergo an independent audit of cabin crew safety compliance conducted across
six anonymous flights.
AirlineRatings.com Chief
Executive Officer Sharon Petersen said the assessment highlighted the airline's
strong safety culture and cabin crew discipline.
She also praised the
airline's emergency exit briefings and said a subsequent visit to the carrier's
operations center demonstrated significant efforts over the past decade to
strengthen crew resource management, human factors training, and fatigue
management.
Malaysia Aviation Group
(MAG), the parent company of Malaysia Airlines, welcomed the recognition,
describing it as validation of its long-term commitment to safety.
